Pakistan opening batsman Shan Masood may not have the best international cricket stats to boost about, having only one century and three fifties to his name in 12 Test matches at an average of under 25.

However, the 28-year-old, who has so far struggled at the international circuit, is a giant at domestic level, with numbers to earn the envy from the best in the game. The Kuwait born has the highest ever average of 58.94 in List A cricket.

Masood sits at the top of the heap when it comes to List A cricket, with Australia’s Michael Bevan and Indian batting maestro sitting second and third with average of 57.86 and 56.56, respectively. The duo has, however, played more number of matches than Masood.

Masood has so far played 74 List A matches and has amassed 3,360 runs, including 10 centuries and 20 fifties, with 182 as his highest score.

Even South African legend and modern batting great AB de Villiers is placed sixth on the table, with an average of 53.47 in 263 matches.
