KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 21,227.79 points with a positive change of 601.74 and volume of 148,350,300 shares. High and Low were 21,258.07 and 20,626.05 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 30 were up, 0 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 222,992,140 shares. Total companies traded were 377 of which 289 were positive, 74 were negative and 14 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,610,900 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 29,719,000 shares.
