KUNDUZ: A remote-controlled bomb killed nine people in the northern Afghan province of Kunduz on Tuesday, police said, hours after dozens died in suicide attacks in the southwest.
"Nine civilians were killed and 36 others injured when a remote-controlled bomb was detonated by the Taliban in the main bazaar of Archi district," regional police spokesman Lal Ahmadzai told AFP.
