• However, TikTok could not satisfy for taking concrete steps for blocking and removal of unlawful content, said the PTA authority in a news release here on Monday.

• “TikTok is being unlocked after assurance from management that they will block all accounts repeatedly involved in spreading obscenity and immorality,” said PTA.

“After TikTok was blocked in Pakistan, we continued to engage with the PTA to demonstrate our commitment to comply with local laws and further enhance our content moderation capacity,” reads the statement.

The next hearing of the case is slated for October 23.
