imagePakistan cricket coach Mickey Arthur, has slammed his teams unacceptabe and woeful fielding, after the visitors lost the fourth One Day International (ODI) against Australia at Sydney, losing the series in process.

Pakistan dropped an embarrassing eight catches as the hosts smashed a mammoth 353 runs at the loss of six wickets at SCG.

"We just can't give chances like that, It's unacceptable" said Arthur said after his side loss, quoted cricket.com.au.

"Certainly, the standards we set for this cricket team haven't been met in the field. So that's really disappointing," the Pakistan cricket coach said.

"(Dropped catches) allows them to push out at the back end. Maxwell should have been out, Head should have been out, which meant that we would have had two new batsmen there all the time Had we taken those catches, those players wouldn't have been at the wicket to take toll of those last couple of overs."

Arthur was of the view that such a poor fielding exhibition would hinder Pakistan chances on ranking "Those are the kinds of things we just can't afford to do. If we want to get to where we want to get to in terms of rankings, we just can't make those errors."

However, Arthur said that the fielding department would improve, and one would not see the same fielding display in the fifth ODI at Adelaide.

"Is it skill level? Attitude? or is it fatigue? Its got to be one of those three things. I think fatigue has a massive role to play in that. One thing I dont want to see is just throw in the towel. And that wont happen in Adelaide," Arthur said, quoted Daily Telegraph.
