imageHead of PCB Executive Committee Najam Sethi has ensured that Indo-Pak series will definitely take place but on some neutral venue. Due to intense political situation, the crucial bilateral series between the two neighboring countries will take place either in UAE or some other neutral venue.

According to local media reports, he said, “I’m saying this on the basis of my experience that the series between the two countries is sure to be held in the UAE or at some other neutral venue”.

Earlier, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur said that the series won’t happen due to complex relationship between the two nations. To which Najam Sethi said, “Anurag was not a professional player but a politician and thus, such statements were not surprising from him”.

According to MoU signed between the two countries, there will be six Indo-Pak series in 2015-2022. The bilateral series between these two rival nations has been considered bigger, than any other cricket series in the world.
