imageISLAMABAD: Pakistan has played an unprecedented role in the war against terrorism for the world peace. Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa said this in an interview with Urdu service of Deutsche Welle.

He regretted that the world has not done enough to support Pakistan's anti-terrorism efforts. He said it will be unjust not to accept Pakistan's contributions in the fight against the menace.

To a question, Asim Saleem Bajwa said Pakistan is ready to go to any extent for peace in Afghanistan. He said the killing of Taliban Chief Mullah Akhtar Mansour has undermined the peace process.

He said all terrorist groups have been targeted in Zarb-e-Azb operation without any discrimination. To a question, he said Pakistan has also protested against the drone strikes on its territory and raised the matter at different levels.
