imageISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to hold Local Government Elections (LGE) on November 19 in second phase of the Punjab and Sindh provinces.

According to the schedule issued by the ECP, nomination papers can be submitted from September 13 to 17 while scrutiny of nomination papers would be conducted by returning officers from September 26 to October one.

Last date of the filling appeals against the decisions of the returning officers could be filed on October 6 and tribunals would decide it till October 12, said notification issued here on Thursday.

The candidates can with draw their nomination papers on October 13 and polling would be held on November 19.

In second phase of the local bodies elections in Punjab includes Khanewal, Sahiwal, Toba Take Singh, Chiniot, Sargodha, Mianwali, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, M.B Din and Attock districts.

The elections would be held in the following districts of Sindh includes, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Sujawal, Badin, Hyderabad, Dadu, Jamshoro, Shaeed Bainazirabad, Naushehru Feroze, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas , UmerKot and Tharparkar.
