imageISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was down by 40.86 points to close at 3727.57 points.

According to the ISE data, a total of 24,800 shares were traded, which showed a positive growth of 17,100 shares, when compared with previous day's trading of 7,000 shares.

Out of 145 companies, share prices of 59 companies recorded increase while those of 86 companies witnessed decrease.

The share price of Ferozsons Laboratories increased by Rs28.97 while that of Pakistan Oilfields decreased by Rs 18.99 per share.

According to the data K Electric, Bank of Punjab and Engro Corporation remained the top trading companies with 12,000, 10,000 and 1,000 shares respectively.
