imageISLAMABAD: Minister for Water and Power, Khawja Asif on Thursday announced new timetable of load-management during holy month of Ramazan by ensuring uninterrupted supply of electricity to consumers during Sehr, Iftar and Traweeh.

Addressing a press conference here, he said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed to ensure hassle-free power supply to the consumers at `Iftar' and `Sehr' during the holy month of Ramazan.

The Minister said that the power supply to industries will be suspended from 7 pm to 3 am during Ramazan.

He urged the consumers to ensure minimum use of electricity especially during the holy month.

Responding to a question, he informed that for first time , 16000 Mega Watt electricity was being generated during last 24 hours.

The Minister said the difference between demand and supply of the electricity is about 3,600 MW.

Khawja Asif asked the consumers to register their complains on Internet, if they found any problem regarding electricity supply in their areas.
