imageMULTAN: Another rainy spell has been forecast for South Punjab while heavy rains are predicted in northern areas and upper Punjab on March 28 which will continue till March 29.

According to Met Office sources, the rainy spell is expected across the region due to presence of a western wave in the country.

Light rain has also been predicted in first week of April while weather would remain fair and temperature will increase from the second week of the next month.

A monsoon spell would start from the second week of July which to continue till September.

The local Met office has forecast partly cloudy (PC) weather for the city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.

On Friday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 33.5 and 20.0 degrees centigrade, respectively.

Humidity was recorded 86 per cent at 8 am and 32 per cent at 5 pm.
