BAGHDAD: Two car bombs near a Shiite place of worship and another in a village populated by Iraq's small Shabak minority killed at least 10 people and wounded 32 on Monday, police and doctors said.
Two car bombs near a Shiite place of worship, or husseiniyah, killed five and wounded 20 in the flashpoint town of Tuz Khurmatu in Kirkuk province.
Another car bomb in Khaznah, a Shabak village near Mosul in north Iraq, killed five people and wounded 12, police officers and doctors said.
Monday's violence comes a day after a string of bombings and a shooting killed 18 people.
While violence in Iraq has decreased significantly from its peak in 2006 and 2007, attacks still occur almost every day.
