PESHAWAR: Federal Minister for Communications, Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil has said that during the present democratic set-up a fast-track development process are in progress in the country under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to complete ongoing mega projects as soon as possible.
Talking to media men in his office in the Ministry of Communication, he said that record development works were carried out in communication sector and they are utilizing all available resources for guaranteeing timely completion according to international standard.
He said that some politicians are making politics on non-issues, which is against the reality and the whole nation knows that the government of PPP have always overcome the crises.
He said that President and Prime Minister themselves are monitoring all national affairs.
Arbab Alamgir said that the purpose of the politics of PPP is indiscriminate service of the people and playing major role in the salvation of the country.
He urged the nation to be aware of the tactics of undemocratic forces, which have always strengthened the hands of military dictators and given irreparable loss to the country.
The federal minister said that media can play active role in provision of better guidance to the nation and called for avoiding criticism for the sake of criticism saying they will always encourage criticism aimed at bringing reforms.
