FAISALABAD: The police have claimed to arrest 44 criminals from different parts of Faisalabad during the past 24 hours.
A spokesman of the police department said here on Wednesday that among these criminals include 20 Proclaimed Offenders (POs), 2 Court Absconders (CAs), 14 drug peddlers and 8 illicit weapon holders.
The police also recovered 450 gram heroin, 671 gram chars, 99 bottles of liquor, 6 pistols (30-bore), 2 guns and 15 cartridges/bullets from their possession. Investigation is under progress, he added.
