PARIS: Leading European stock markets posted solid gains on Friday, with London's FTSE 100 index of top companies closing 0.30 percent higher at 5,812.26 points.
In Frankfurt, the DAX 30 added 0.66 percent to 7,214.5 points, a 2012 high point, while in Paris the CAC 40 rose by 0.26 percent to 3,519.05 points.
