DC visits financial assistance centres

The Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Muhammad Ali, along with Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Mian Farrukh Habib, SSP Operations Syed Ali Raza and senior officers of the Pak Army on Saturday visited various centres set up to distribute financial assistance under the Ehsaas Programme.

An amount of Rs 21.97 million has been disbursed in two days among 18,160 deserving women under Ehsaas Programme of Prime Minister at the 18 centres of the district.

The Deputy Commissioner along with others visited Chak 229 Khanuana, Government Post-Graduate College Samanabad and other centres and reviewed the process of providing financial assistance to registered eligible women.

The Deputy Commissioner and the Federal Parliamentary Secretary expressed satisfaction over the availability of drinking water, washroom facilities and other necessary arrangements for women at the centres.
