The police rescued two teenage sisters kidnapped some eight days earlier and arrested three abductors during separate raids here on Sunday. According to details, two real sisters Iqra 17, and Jasmine 14, hailing from Musa Colony went missing from Karimabad, in Azizabad police station jurisdiction while returning home from school on February 14, 2020.

The police traced the key accused Abdul Manan through CCTV footage and arrested him during a raid in Khamiso Goth. On information provided by the detainee, the police arrested his two accomplices Shahadat and Kausar alias Bilal also.

Police said that key accused Abdul Manan had handed over the abducted sisters to his accomplices against Rs10,000 and the rescued girls were to be sold further against huge sum of money.

The rescued sisters were handed over to their family and the police after registering a case against the detainees have started investigation.
