Qualifier Usman Tahir of Punjab entered into the second round after securing victory in the opening match of the All Pakistan Imran Mohib Khan Memorial Junior Age Group Squash Championship, which got under way here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Wednesday.

Rayyan Mohib son Of late Imran Mohib Khan was the chief guest and formally inaugurated the Championship. Former World Champion Jansher Khan, former World No. 2 Mohib Ullah Khan, also father of Imran Mohib, who died due to blood cancer recently, former World Champion Qamar Zaman, Secretary KP Squash Association Munawar Zaman, members executive council Wazir Gul, Sher Bahadar, Sajjad Khan, former Nazim Nawa Khali, players, officials and large number of spectators and well wishers of Imran Mohib were also present.

Speaking on this occasion, Jansher Khan paid rich tribute to late Imran Mohib, a former squash player, died of cancer recently. He said the event would be organized on annual basis to pay tribute to him as a squash player. Qamar Zaman on this occasion also paid tribute to late Imran Mohib and termed him a good player and good person.
