Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said on Thursday that PML-N should not be over-confident because Q-League and other allied parties are very much with the government.

He expressed these views while talking to media and addressing the inaugural session of 3rd International Conference on Punjabi Language, Literature, Art and Culture organized by Punjabi Department of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU). He also inaugurated a new block constructed with the support of Higher Education Commission at the LCW with a cost of Rs220 million. The new block will accommodate more than 1,900 students of 10 various departments of the varsity.

Sarwar said that PTI-led coalition government will complete its tenure. He stressed his hope that PTI will contest local bodies and next general elections in 2023 in alliance with PML Q. He also said that not even a single day will not be reduce from constitutional term of government as general election will be held in year 2023.

Prime Minister Imran Khan is a man of principles he will not compromise on principles. The government is not worried on the reservations of the allies as they are in continuous dialogue with its allies. He stressed his hope that all issues of allies will be resolved amicably.

He further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has united Punjabis of both sides through Kartarpur Corridor Project. "We all Punjabis will work together for promotion of "Punjabi language and culture," said Sarwar.

He said that the opposition, which put the country under debt of billions of dollars, will have to be held accountable. Pakistan is advancing successfully on diplomatic front and the world is acknowledging and supporting Pakistan's narrative on peace.

Addressing the conference, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar congratulated Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) for holding 3rd International Conference on Punjabi Language, Literature, Art and Culture.
