The Academy Award winning actress Emma Stone has got engaged to longtime boyfriend Dave McCary, who has shared the news through his Instagram.

McCary is ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL) writer and segment director. He posted a photo to Instagram showcasing Stone's ring. He captioned the photo with a simple heart emoji.

Stone and McCary have been dating since 2017. Both met on the sets of SNL in 2016. However, the two rarely make joint appearances in public and keep their relationship fairly private.

Before her relationship with McCary, Stone dated her ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ costar Andrew Garfrield on and off for three years. In November 2016, Stone told Vogue that the Marvel actor is “still someone I love very much.” Later she started to date McCary in 2017.
