PNQAHE signs MoU with Hazara University

The MoU signing ceremony for organizing and hosting the 3rd international conference on Quality Assurance was held at PNQAHE secretariat at Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar on Wednesday. The said MoU signed between the Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PNQAHE) and Hazara University (HU), Mansehra.

The MoU was signed by Prof Dr Arshad Javed, President PNQAHE and Prof Dr Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah, Vice Chancellor Hazara University representing their respective organizations. According to the MoU Hazara University will organize and host the 3rd International conference on Quality Assurance.

The two organizations will work in co-operation to hold the Conference to achieve its objectives to serve the community at large. Besides others Registrar KMU Prof Dr M Saleem Gandapur, General Secretary PNQAHE Asiya Bukhari and Registrar Hazara University & Lt Cdr Dr Mahmood Khan(Rtd) Director QEC Hazara University, were also present on the occasion.

PNQAHE and HU agreed upon the terms that HU will develop the conference website containing all the necessary information for participants. The website link shall be displayed on both, PNQAHE and Hazara University websites. Announcing and marketing the conference information to PNQAHE member/non-member HEIs and international target participants, in consultation with PNQAHE will also be made by HU.

HU will also form a committee of senior faculty members to evaluate the submitted abstracts/papers/presentations. The said committee will be fully authorized to select or reject submissions.

The generous financial contribution of Hazara University was also highly appreciated for meeting the conference expenses. It was agreed upon by both the parties that HU will bear all the expenditures of the conference excluding share of the PNQAHE.

In the meeting it was decided that the collaboration or sponsorship from any organization would be highly appreciated.
