Third death anniversary of the late senior politician Senator Haji Mohammad Adeel is being observed here Monday (today). The late veteran politician, during his four decades long political career, had worked on different important offices of ANP and official posts of the provincial finance minister and deputy speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly (then NWFP Assembly).

In his message issued in connections with the death anniversary of late Haji Mohammad Adeel, the ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan paid tributes to the services of late Senator in the approval of the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award and 18th Constitutional Amendment.

Asfandyar said late Haji Mohammad Adeel had never compromised during struggle for the salvation of democracy and provincial autonomy and adhered to the party policies till his last breath.

Similarly, in a special message, the Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala has paid rich tributes to the services of Late Haji Mohammad Adeel. Mandviwala said late Haji Adeel was a perspicacious and prudent statesman saying vacuum created due to his death would not be filled. He said the services of late Senator will always be remembered and his companions and friends would continue to keep his political ideology alive.

During his electoral career, Haji Adeel was elected consecutively for three terms from his constituency comprising of Peshawar Cantonment and its surrounding areas that is still a record for any legislator from the area.
