Bahria Gold City Islamabad organized the 2019 Ambassador Golf Club tournament on November 10, 2019. Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain sponsored the inaugural tournament of Ambassadors Golf Club, held at Pines Golf Club, Bahria Golf City Islamabad.

Air Chief Marshal, Mujahid Anwar Khan TBT, NI (M), HI (M) was the chief guest of the event. The purpose behind the tournament was to enhance and strengthen diplomatic ties using the platform of golf. The president of Ambassadors Golf Club, Ambassador Dato Mahmud Saidin of Brunai Darussalam along with Vice Presidents Ambassador Furqat A. Siddiqov of Uzbekistan and Ambassador Ismatulloh Nasredin of Tajikistan were the chief organizers. Participation of founding members including Atadjan Movlov of Turkmanistan, Ali Alizada of Azerbijan, Erik Beishembiev of Kyrgyzstan, Ambassador Pham Hoang Kim of Vietnam, and Barlybay Karimovich, former Ambassador of Kazakhstan made the event successful.

Ambassadors Golf Club is an effort to gather comity of nations to promote peace and stability through improved diplomatic ties and to present a softer and a positive image of Pakistan to the world. The venue of Bahria Golf City Islamabad not only provided the right platform for the golfing event but also a healthy and beautiful setting for a pleasant evening.-PR
