Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in a consultative meeting held here at the PML-N Secretariat on Monday, deliberated upon the country's current political and economic situation and expressed resolve to use all options to expose the current PTI-led government, which according to the PML-N has caused harm to the country due to its 'inaptness.'

The PML-N meeting, which was chaired by the party's President Shahbaz Sharif, also discussed the JUI-F's Azadi March currently underway in Islamabad and it was decided to continue extending political support to Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, however, the PML-N would not support any unconstitutional or undemocratic act.

During the PML-N meeting, the participants deliberated on the strategy regarding anti-government protest. In this regard, different options were discussed. It was, however, resolved to use all democratic means to expose the present government.

The sources claimed that the PML-N would take on board other opposition parties and discuss different options against the present government. The options under consideration are: in-house change, countrywide protest and shutter down strike.

After the meeting, the PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal lambasted the government for its failures on all fronts. "The inefficient government has caused harm to the country while economic crisis has posed threat to the national solidarity," he said, adding: "There is isolation on diplomatic front."

Ahsan further said that Aiwan-e-Sadr has become factory of Ordinances while legislation is being carried through back doors.

The meeting also expressed concern over health condition of Nawaz Sharif and prayed for his recovery.

Shahbaz Sharif has expressed gratitude to Allah Almighty over bail of Maryam Nawaz in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. He asked the PML-N workers to pray for Nawaz's health.

Moreover, the PML-N activists expressed jubilation over bail of Maryam Nawaz. They chanted slogans in favor of the PML-N leadership and also expressed happiness at the Lahore High Court and outside Services Hospital.

The PML-N workers offered Nawafil outside Services Hospital while showered currency notes at the high court premises on hearing news about bail of Maryam.
