  • The Indian side has however, failed to reply to Pakistan's invitation to visit AJK.
  • "Claims made by Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat 'remains just that: claims'," FO spokesperson said.
  • India claimed of destroying three terror camps in AJK.

Pakistan took on Tuesday diplomat corporation to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) following India's claims that it had destroyed three 'terror camps' across the Line of Control (LoC).

Foreign Office Spokesperson took to the official Twitter handle and wrote that the they took diplomat corporation to the site of the alleged terror camp and said that Indian side did not join them to visit the LoC. "Neither have they provided coordinates of the alleged “launchpads”," the FO spokesperson said.

In another tweet, the foreign office spokesperson further said that claims made by Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat 'remains just that: claims'.

On Sunday, six civilians and a soldier of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom, while two soldiers and at least nine civilians were wounded in AJK, after Indian forces resorted to indiscriminate and ruthless shelling from across the LoC.

In a befitting response, Pakistan Army targeted Indian positions across the LoC destroying two Indian bunkers, killing nine Indian soldiers and injuring several other troops.

Following the ceasefire violation,  General Rawat had claimed, “Six to 10 Pakistani soldiers have been killed and three terror camps have been destroyed." He further said that the Indian Army used artillery guns to target camps in AJK.

His claims were challenged by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor who issued an open challenge to them to visit the area.
