BUCHAREST: Romania's finance ministry sold a more than planned 919 million lei ($219.75 million) of June 2024, treasury bonds on Thursday at an average yield of 4.13 percent, central bank data showed.

Debt managers, that planned to sell 600 million lei of the paper on Thursday, last sold it in June at 4.29 percent.

So far this year, Romania has sold roughly 26.1 billion lei and 506.7 million euros on the local market. It also tapped foreign markets in March for 3 billion euros worth of 2026, 2034 and 2049 Eurobonds.
