Qureshi directs concerned authorities to ensure distribution of Zakat funds among deserving people

MULTAN: Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has directed the authorities concerned to ensure distribution of Zakat funds among the deserving people during holy month of Ramazan.

He was chairing a meeting at Circuit House to review performance of different district departments, here on Sunday.

Zakat funds worth Rs 153 million would be distributed through Zakat committees, he said.

He also ordered for issuance of a notification for formation of new Zakat committees. The foreign minister was briefed about different uplift schemes. Local parliamentarians were also present.
