This is apropos a Business Recorder news item "Murder of 'democracy'" carried by the newspaper yesterday. No doubt, it was murder of so-called democracy in India after New Delhi deprived occupied Jammu & Kashmir of its special status by revoking Article 370 of India's constitution.
The revocation of Article 370 was part of BJP's election manifesto. It seems to have done it rather quickly. The BJP government has also decided to bifurcate the occupied state of Jammu & Kashmir into Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Little does India's Union Minister Amit Shah, who has explained his government's decision as an effort to fully integrate Kashmir with India, understand that he has in fact triggered the process of disintegration of entire India through carrying out naked aggression on the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Little does prime minister Narendra Modi know that he has committed a historical blunder.
