Development work on Sialkot Industrial Heritage Museum goes on in full swing. Official sources told Business Recorder on Sunday that the proposed museum at Sialkot Business and Commerce Centre (SBCC) would become operational soon. The objective of setting up the museum was to promote 'Made in Sialkot' products and the export potential of Sialkot-based small and medium enterprises.
The rare manufacturing tools will be displayed in the museum with active cooperation of local trade bodies for the interest of domestic and foreign visitors. Most importantly, surgical instruments and sports goods are centuries-old industries of Sialkot and earning $ 2.5 billion dollars per annum through its exports and thus strengthening national economy.
