An international conference on the theme of "Energy Transformation: Past, Present and Future" will commence on Saturday (today). This 15th international conference will also have exclusive sessions on "Transforming Indigenous Resources into Energy Sources" and another session on, "Optimising Past Practices to Save Future."
Eminent speakers from both local and international organisations, associations and institutes will speak. They are from Aspen Aerogel Inc, USA, AVEVA, UAE, Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB), Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan (HDIP), Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, (NEPRA), Pakistan Council of Renewable Enrgy Technologies (PCRET), Sindh Lakhra Coal Mining Company (Pvt.) Ltd, Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB), Punjab Energy Efficiency, etc.
