Tharparkar Health department has taken various steps to save people from heatstroke. In this connection, special wards have been established to handle the patients of heatstroke in hospitals of the district. All necessary items, including air-conditions and room coolers, have also been provided to all hospitals of district Tharparkar.
Besides, ambulances have also been made available at different points of the district such as Badin bus stop, Diplo and Kaloi bus stops to meet emergency.
According to the health department's officials, doctors and paramedical staff are ready to deal with heat-wave related issues at all the heat-wave emergency rooms at hospitals. People have been advised to stay at homes avoiding unnecessary outside visits.
