As many as four persons of same family sustain injuries when roof of a room caved in Shiekhmal Khel area of Landi Kotal on Tuesday. The local administration official said that due to torrential rain, roof of a room of house of Munir Khan of Alam Khani village collapsed, buried four members of the family including a minor girl, two brothers and sister and a woman under the debris.
Immediately after an incident the relatives along with neighbours moved to the site, kicked off relief works and retrieved the wounded of the mud and shifted them to Landi Kotal hospital for medical treatment.
The injured were identified as Khukola, 07, Rashid Khan,19,d/o Abidullah,14 and w/o Awais Khan and according to health official condition of injured was out of danger.
