Aniqa Hamid,40, who was seriously shot injured by her brother-in-law before he committed suicide on Sunday night over a family dispute succumbed to her injuries while being treated at hospital here on Monday.
The police said she was the daughter-in-law of an ex-chairman, Association of Builders and Developers' Association (ABAD) and belonged to Gohar Builders' family.
Police said the unfortunate incident occurred inside their residence in PECHS, Block-6, near Ambala Bakery when Khalid Gohar opened fires on his younger brother Hamid Gohar and his wife Anita and then committed suicide after exchange of heated arguments over a property dispute between the brothers.
