A milk testing week was organized under aegis of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority in different districts of the province.
Spokesman of the Food Authority, Waqarullah Khan told media person here on Tuesday that the milk checking was conducted at all divisional level during the week and imposed Rs0.1million fines over adulterated milk. He informed that more than 2,000 samples checked during the week-long milk testing campaign in the province. During the drive, the official said that there was not found chemical mixed milk anywhere, but action had taken against milk sellers for mixing water and low feed level.
