Importers in the Philippines purchased about 85,000 tonnes of feed wheat in a deal earlier this week, European traders said on Friday. Some 50,000 tonnes was bought at below $260 a tonne c&f for shipment to the port of Batangas. The United States was seen as a possible origin. Both consignments were for shipment in the first half of April.
