Grams prices were up on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of moderate trading, dealers said. On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 gained Rs 1200 to Rs 11000, grams Australia Dall picked up Rs 2250 to Rs 12100, grams 50x50 rose by Rs 500 to Rs 11250, grams Dall 50x50 was higher by Rs 1500 to Rs 12500, yellow peas Russia gained Rs 700 to Rs 5900 and yellow peas Dall Russia also up by Rs 800 to Rs 6600, they said.
On the cereals side, Urad Burma picked up Rs 400 to Rs 8000, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side, Til regular lower variety was higher by Rs 500 to Rs 4000 and fine type rose by Rs 600 to Rs 4500, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 1950 and best quality was lower by Rs 30 to Rs 2070, castor seeds Lakhra, however, gained Rs 50 to Rs 2100, they said.
Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, they said.
