An important meeting presided over by Chief Executive, Pesco, Anwar UlHaq Yousafzai was held at Wapda House Peshawar. Superintending Engineers of Peshawar, Khyber, Bannu, Swat, Mardan and Hazara Circles attended the meeting. The CEO Pesco viewed very seriously the poor performance of some divisions. The CEO said that he is dissatisfied over their performance of March 2016.
Keeping in view this poor performance CEO suspended 5 SDOs and one XEN among those SDO Pesco Gulbahar Qaisar Shah, SDO Daudzai Qazi Fahim Ullah, SDO Sardheri RizwanUllah, Asad Ali SDO Nawan Kili Swabi, HabibUllah SDO Nowshera City Sub-Division and XEN Dir Division ShaukatUllah.
The CEO said that he had already ordered no over billing-no adjustment, but a few officers are not following it in true spirit. He said that he is fully committed to bring back Pesco a profitable entity with your cooperation. He further said that as on one side disciplinary action is being in progress while on other side performance of some officers has been hailed including XEN Hangu Gohar Rehman and XEN Tank Asad Jan. The CEO reviewed the progress in photo meter reading and showed his dissatisfaction over it and issued Explanation letter to two SEs in this regard.
About new connections CEO directed to fully utilise all pending new connection by 30th April as the material has already been endorsed to sub-divisions. He warned if any pending connection was found after the fixed date SDO will placed under suspension. The CEO also directed to replace all defective meters by 30th April under the supervision of SE concerned. CEO directed to investigate the increasing trend of the Life Line Consumers (consumers using 50 units monthly) and reports submit to him. Drive against illegal use of electricity was specially discussed and important decisions were taken in this regard.
