The police arrested two abductors besides recovering ransom money during crackdown here on Wednesday. SSP East Faisal Abdullah said that on a tipoff regarding presence of criminals, the New Town police conducted operation near Civic Centre during which two kidnappers were arrested. He said that ransom money worth hundreds of thousand rupees was also recovered from the possession of the detainees stated to be wanted by various police stations of the city in dozen of cases of kidnapping for ransom and other crimes.
