Obituary

The Nishat Hotels and Properties Company has grieved the death of Director Saeed Alvi on Monday morning. He was a retired civil servant from the Pakistan Administrative Service with 36 years of field experience at sub-divisional, district, divisional and secretariat levels of provincial and federal governments. In one of his many professional roles, he also served as the Director of the Staff of the National School of Public Policy, Chairperson of the Technical Educational and Vocational Training Authority and the Human Rights Federal Secretary.
He also served on the Boards of Directors of the Nishat Real Estate Development Ltd, Nishat Power Limited, Lalpir Power Limited, Nishat Mills Ltd and other companies of the Nishat Group as the Director. He too directly supervised the management of the Emporium Mall. He leaves behind a wife, three daughters and a son.-PR
