The Lahore High Court (LHC) is expecting by March 15 from the Punjab Prisons Inspector General (PIG) to explain as to why a prisoner was kept behind the bars even after his acquittal by the superior court. The petitioner, who is a prisoner named Mahboob Alam, has claimed that he was cleared of the murder charges in 2009 and since then he had never been released yet.
