Offer was for Zardari: interior ministry

Spokesman for Interior Ministry has clarified that federal interior minister's offer for judicial scrutiny of the cases was in fact for the PPP leadership; and if they want, an application for the constitution of a judicial commission could be moved by next week. "Offer was for Asif Ali Zardari that if he wants, the government is ready for a judicial scrutiny of the cases," he said. The spokesman further said that PPP leaders were trying to make the process of investigation controversial by unjustifiable criticisms. He said that all cases registered by the FIA were clear of political expediency and if the Sindh Government had any compliant, it was free to approach the court against that.
