Pakistan Sports Board Tuesday distributed squash rackets among players of the PSB Mohib Ullah Khan Squash Academy here. The Academy is working since 2006 with 12 players of various categories have their training and coaching under the supervision of three coaches - Pervez Ali, Shehzad Mohib and Adil Khan. In the distribution ceremony Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Miss Rashida Ghaznavi was the chief guest. Director Sports PSB Coaching Center and former World No 2 Mohib Ullah Khan, Director Sports Aziz Ullah Khan, players and officials were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Director PSB Coaching Center Mohib Ullah Khan, who was also retired from his services, thanked Director General Sports Dr Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera for extending all out supports in running the affairs of the Academy. He said players in the age of Under-9, Under-13, and Under-15 are currently associated with the academy and have given good performances in various age group and National Junior Squash Championship.
In her address Director General Sports Miss Rashida Ghaznavi paid rich tribute to the services being rendered by Mohib Ullah Khan for the promotion of squash in particular and other games in general. Earlier, Miss Rashida Ghaznavi gave away two rackets each to 12 players of the Academy comprising Ghulam Muhammad, Ibrahim Mohib, Khurshal Riaz, Talha Iqbal, Jawad Khan, Hammad, Bilal Sajjad, Humam Ahmad, Muthahir Ali Shah, Waleem Khalil, Fahaz Sharif and Abu Zar.
