The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 102 kilogram hashish from the secret compartments of a vehicle in the limits of Dina police station of district Jehlum. An official said that an ANF team at Tarki toll plaza of Jehlum intercepted a pick up bearing registration number ID 4650 and recovered 102 kilogram hashish kept in the secret cavities of the vehicle.
The ANF team also arrested two persons including Farman Ullah, a resident of Karak of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Zeeshan Khan, a resident of Dera Ismail Khan, he said. He said that the pick up was carrying drug and coming from Jamrud (KP) and was on way to Gujrat for delivery of drugs to a local peddler.
An ANF team while carrying out their routine check up stopped the pick up near Tarki toll plaza and searched out the pick up. The ANF team found 102 kilograms of fine quality hashish hidden in the secret cavities of the vehicle, he added. The ANF team has registered FIR against the accused and investigation against them is underway.
