The government is coming up with comprehensive planning for the provision of better transport facilities in Karachi through bus rapid transit system. This was stated by Commissioner Karachi, Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, while speaking at a workshop, says a statement on Sunday.
He said that the work on Orange Line and Green Line Bus routes would commence next week and is expected to be completed towards the end of 2016.
The Commissioner said that under the bus rapid transit system, the work is continuing on Yellow Line and Red Line bus project.
He pointed out that the projects would be completed in collaboration with the Federal and the Sindh government as well as the public-private partnership.
