Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has transported free of cost, medicines, medical equipment and relief goods weighing 43,000 kg, from New York to Lahore for earthquake affectees, and handed them over to Pakistan Army's medical Corps at Allama Iqbal International Airport here this morning.
The equipment that has been airlifted includes survival kits, medical supplies, food rations, dry milk, mineral water, blankets, new clothing as well as household items. After the devastating 26th October earthquake, PIA offered to airlift relief goods from national as well as international destinations, free of cost.-PR
