Blair's four 'apologies'

This is apropos a letter "Cheney and Rumsfeld should also be brought to justice" carried by the newspaper yesterday. Showing profound appreciation to the Iraq crisis, the writer has added these two key aides of George W Bush to the list of mass murderers. The list is very long indeed. You can add as many names as vividly as you recall the events of mass destruction that took place following the US invasion of Iraq in 2003.
In his interview that he gave to CNN's Farid Zakaria, the former British prime minister appeared remorseless. His body language, however, betrayed a deep feeling of guilt. That is why he failed to offer a clear and loud apology for what he and Bush did in Iraq although he made four apologies in his interview. None of those could be considered an apology for he failed to utter a single word about the mass murder of Iraqis in the entire course of his interview.
The former British prime minister is required to make an apology-clearly and unambiguously-to the people of Iraq for the war crimes he committed against them without any further loss of time. He must not lose sight of the fact that Labour's downfall in Britain is the result of his policies that led to alienate not only those who were critical to his Iraq policies from day one but also a large number of those who are considered a traditional Labour supporters not only in Britain but also beyond.
