Absar Alam, senior journalist and the host of Aaj TV's popular current affairs show, Bottom Line with Absar Aalam, has been appointed Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra), Aaj New reported. The appointment of Absar as head of Pemra was notified on Thursday. A widely -travelled Aalam is considered a highly respectable name in Pakistan's media industry.
