Crackdown against unregistered vehicles and fancy number plats continued on Sunday as police took more than 250 vehicles into custody during the last two days here. According to traffic police, the raids were carried out at various parts of city including Defence, Clifton, Neepa round about, and Sadder area etc.
More then 600 vehicles, having fancy number plates and black wind screens, were also challaned by police during the same time period. The owners of such vehicles were asked to remove the fancy number plate within the next two days. Those unregistered vehicles were kept at various police stations. Owners will be allowed to take away their vehicles after showing the registered number plate.
