A downward trend was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Barley Sindh and Mardan quoted at Rs 3250 and Rs 3300, Gur low type was higher by Rs 300 to Rs 7500 and the best quality was unchanged at Rs 8000, they said. On the grams side, Bajra inferior type was down by Rs 200 to Rs 2900 and the good type lost Rs 100 to Rs 4300, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 1350 and the best quality was down by Rs 30 to Rs 1420, they said. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, they said.
