US FOB Gulf soyabeans for new-crop shipments weakened for the second straight day as exporters continued to set-up harvest pricing while corn was unchanged in steady markets, traders said. FOB hard red winter wheat offers were marked 5 cents lower on good harvest movement, traders said. Soft red winter wheat offers remain quietly steady as futures fell.
As expected, Egypt's GASC bought much cheaper Black Sea wheat overnight in its snap tender. FOB Gulf August soyabeans were unchanged at 95 cents over CBOT August futures, which ended up 4-3/4 cents at $9.96-3/4. September loadings were steady at 80 cents over November futures, which closed 2-1/2 cents up at $9.88-1/4. But October though January offers were all marked down 1 cent with November offered at 84 cents over November futures. FOB Gulf corn for August was offered unchanged at 64 over CBOT September, which closed up 1-1/4 cent at $4.24-1/2. November corn offers were unchanged at 83 cents over CBOT December.
FOB HRW wheat offers at the Texas Gulf were all marked down 5 cents for the last half of 2015 with July and August at 115 cents over Kansas City September, which closed down 3-1/4 cents at $5.83. FOB SRW wheat at the New Orleans Gulf was unchanged with July and August offered at 75 cents over CBOT September, which closed down 7-3/4 cents at $5.77-1/2. GASC bought 120,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $202 to $202.40 per tonne FOB and 60,000 tonnes of Ukraine wheat at $200.50 for August 11-20 shipment.
